Baby Zander made his appearance on Friday morning, December 2nd at 9:27. He weighed in at a whopping 7 pounds 12 ounces. This is huge for a Brooks baby. Kyler was 6 lbs 12 ozs and Azure was 6 lbs 8 ozs. He was 19 1/2 inches.
Proud daddy was so happy to have another son.
There is just nothing that compares with a newborn! He has a lot of blonde hair. In the pictures in looks kind of dark, but it's pretty blonde.
Grandmommy (Trevor's mom) came to help out. It was nice just being able to leave the house at 4:30 in the morning and know that we didn't have to call a babysitter and that everything would be taken care of!
The kids picked out flowers for me. Kyler picked out the roses. Azure picked out the yellow ones. Patti (Grandmommy) got me the purple flowers. They were all beautiful and the nurses commented on how good my room smelled. I've never gotten so many flowers before, so I felt loved ;)
This is Zander's going home from the hospital outfit. We let the kids pick it out.
Kyler was so excited. He couldn't wait to hold baby Zander. This was much different from when Azure was born. He was a bit indifferent to Azure, but he loves Zander.
Azure is so excited to be a big sister. She was good about waiting her turn.
Our first family photo of 5! I can't believe there are five of us. We are so excited for Zander to be part of our family. It's always sweet to have another baby in the family.

YAAAAAAAAYYYY!!! CONGRATS!! He is one cute chunkster :0) nothing cuter than a chubby baby! Good job Mama :D Looks like Azure and Kyler are falling right into their rolls quite nicely! YAY! You are so right, NOTHING compares to a newborn... such a sweet special spirit... and right before Christmas... when Kahner was a baby I felt such a special bond and closeness with Mary, looking down at my newborn baby boy, just as she did on that Christmas day (K was 3 months but that's beside the point hehe) anyway, enjoy that sweet bundle of joy!!

I told you he was coming on the 2nd! He is so cute. I can't wait to meet the little guy.
It's great to have another grandson in the family. I love my granddaughters to, both are treasures from above. It's also nice to see all the pictures especially the ones with the kids holding the new baby. Zander is really a cute name, where did you pick it up? Grandmother is really going to miss everyone but I will be happy to have her home.

Congratulations!!! We are so happy for you. He looks a lot like Azure! We look forward to seeing more pictures of the sweet baby.
Hope your recovery is going well and that you are getting more sleep than I did when Maddie was born... that shouldn't be too hard. We will keep you in our prayers.
